Barack Obama continued to apologize to 12 million Americans last week whose insurance policies were canceled due to the affordable care act. Obama told these Americans that they could keep their current insurance if they wanted to. Another issue is that some companies have been canceling their holders in some states where there are less holders to save money. Some of these peoples insurers are canceling their insurance if they don’t qualify for Obamacare. He blames the failing of the law on their planning.

I feel that Obama’s apology was sincere and that he is trying to change things to satisfy the country as whole, especially the conservative Republicans who are the ones that really have an issue with this. I think his main purpose is to come to an agreement to prevent the government from shutting down again, probably for a longer amount of time. I don’t think that it’s fair to americans when their insurance drops them just to save money because there are not enough policy holders total in a state.
